Kevin M. Beck

Kevin is a shareholder with Kelly & Lemmons. He joined the firm as a law clerk in October 2006 and was hired as an attorney after becoming licensed in 2008. His practice is devoted to litigation in the areas of Labor and Employment, Criminal, Municipal, and Corporate law. Kevin manages all aspects of civil litigation files, both plaintiff’s and defense, from drafting pleadings, to discovery and motion work, through verdict and appeal. In addition, Kevin makes frequent appearances as a prosecutor in Ramsey County criminal court on behalf of suburban cities and oversees petty misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and gross misdemeanor prosecution cases, from charging through trial and appeal.

He also advises public and private labor unions on collective-bargaining rights and obligations and represents Unions and their members in grievance arbitrations, with significant experience representing law enforcement officers. Kevin also represents veterans to enforce their rights under Minnesota’s Veterans Preference Act. Representative public sector arbitration decisions include:

Kevin also advises corporations and individuals on transactional matters, ranging from employment issues, to contract interpretation/drafting, to property acquisition, and regulatory compliance.
