Joseph Kelly

Joseph is a shareholder at Kelly & Lemmons. He joined the firm in 2008.

Joseph earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.  He focuses the majority of his work on employment and labor law.  He has extensive experience representing Veterans in Veterans Preference Removal hearings and USERRA claims.

Joseph is also an Infantry Officer in the Minnesota Army National Guard. He received his commission October 23, 2008 as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, GA.  He deployed in 2011-2012 in support of Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom.  His military awards include the Expert Infantryman Badge, Ranger Tab, Pathfinder Badge, Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Reserve Component Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Reserve Medal (with a Mobilization Device), Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.  He is also a graduate of the Counter Insurgency (COIN) Academy in Afghanistan.
